Joan Martinez, a lifelong resident of New Jersey, began her career as a paralegal, with a strong emphasis on real estate.  By utilizing the skills she acquired in her previous career, she became a Licensed Title Producer in 1998 working closely with attorneys, realtors, and title companies on thousands of closings.  A mortgage lender, recognizing her extensive knowledge in real estate, requested she join their team as a mortgage loan originator in 2001.

Joan brings much more to the table than the average mortgage loan originator.  She possesses a detailed understanding of the entire closing process, from Contract to Post Closing, and has earned her respect in the real estate community amongst her peers.  Her skills come from 35 years of hands-on experience.

Being in the service business requires a passion for helping others.  Joan’s willingness to help others is apparent in everything she does, and to everyone she comes across.  Married with one son, family is very important to her, which is why she believes her mission is to help as many families as possible acquire their dreams of being homeowners.
