Police and firemen’s
Retirement System Mortgage Program
Family First Funding is a participating lender in NJHMFA’s Police and Firemen’s Retirement System Mortgage Program.
It is our goal to ensure that the heroes who protect NJ communities everyday are able to achieve their homeownership goals as easily as possible. This program is available to any currently employed police officer or firefighter, who is a member of the Police and Firemen’s Retirement System with at least one year creditable service.
Rates starting at 4.48% with 4.80% APR!

- 1- or 2-family residences and condo units located in New Jersey
- Vacant land used to construct eligible 1- or 2-family dwelling
- Borrower must occupy the residence as their principal residence within 120 days of closing, and remain for the life of the loan
- Borrower is responsible for all closing costs in addition to application fee
