Hilary brings to Family First Funding 20 years of expertise as a top producing mortgage originator. A natural with numbers, this Ridgewood, NJ native entered into the mortgage business in 1998. This followed a successful 10 years on Wall Street, which began on the International Equity desk at Pru-Bache.

Her career took her to Toronto as a manager for the same international equities desk; she subsequently worked at various firms trading S&P’s, futures and options. Then she landed on the proprietary fixed income desk at CDC Capital, a division of the Caisse des Depots et Consignations, where she traded derivatives on the long end of the fixed income market. Mortgages were a natural progression from there.

“When my clients are trying to find the best solution to their mortgage needs, I simply tell them – Once we run the numbers, the answers begin to present themselves. Running numbers clarifies solutions,” Hilary says.

By keeping a long term focus on mortgage banking, Hilary has acquired unrivaled knowledge and expertise, including but not limited to: conforming loans, jumbo loans, interest only loans, stated income loans, reverse mortgages, construction and land loans. She has been very successful with builder spec loans and is constantly adding new lenders to her arsenal. Currently, she has some of the most competitive builder spec loans on the market. Creative solutions to the out of the ordinary or impossible solutions are her strong point.

An active Hamptons resident, Hilary has been on the board of several non-profit fundraising organizations on the Eastern End of Long Island, most significantly, President of Alternatives, a Southampton outpatient treatment center primarily focused on substance abuse services. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, reading, cycling and going to the beach.
